I’M A WEETBIX KID!!

Finally trying the gluten free weet-bix by Sanitarium. Its’ been over 15 years since I have eaten weet-bix. I remember they were a staple in our household growing up and we use to have them with hot milk and sprinkled with a bit of sugar (without my mum seeing).

Sanitarium gluten free weet-bix are made from, wholegrain sorghum (96%), golden syrup, salt, vitamins (niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, folate), mineral (iron). They are made the same way as the regular weet-bix but at a separate factory dedicated to producing gluten free products, so no need to worry about cross-contamination. This product has been endorsed by the Coeliac Australia and New Zealand making it a perfect breakfast option for Coeliac sufferers.

So the taste verdict? AMAZING!!! My first bite took me straight back to my childhood, to me it tastes exactly like the real deal. I also love how they are sweetened with golden syrup, making them FODMAP friendly.
